The grapes for this wine come from select vineyards located in the Alexander Valley and the Russian River Valley.

This is a rich, complex wine with bright aromas of berries and plum, and rich flavors f blackberry, plum and white pepper leading to a long and elegant finish that has  hints of cedar and cocoa.  Fruit from the Russian River Valley provides bright, fresh fruit flavors and Alexander Valley fruit gives the wine spice and depth.
