Our flagship wine, the 2007 NJK is a blend of 38% Cabernet Franc, 30% Kekfrankos, 20% Merlot, and 12% Cabernet Sauvignon. It brings together international varietals with the "local spice" of Kekfrankos and reflects nicely the unique Eger terroir.  The bright fruit of cherry and red currant is nicely accented by slight smoke, cocoa and chocolate. It is smooth in the mouth, round and pleasingly long. The wine was aged for 3 years in both new and select one year old barrels, and rested for an additional year after bottling. Our NJK is drinking beautifully now, and will mature beautifully for years to come.
