2017 Sonoma County Zinfandel
First planted in Sonoma County around 1850, Zinfandel has enjoyed a rich tradition as America’s heritage grape. Known for its fruit forward nature and smooth tannins, our Sonoma County Zinfandel comes from select high quality vineyards which provide the characteristics that made the Zinfandel varietal the foundation of the California wine industry. Great with rich pasta, chicken, pork or beef and anything barbecued.
The 2017 Starry Night Sonoma County Zinfandel is big wine made especially for Zinfandel lovers. It is deep ruby in color, with a classic Zinfandel nose of red berries and jam, along with notes of cigar box and baking spice. The palate is dense and rich with a LUSCIOUS finish and flavors of dark stone fruit, including ripe plum, dark cherry, cassis, hints of anise, exotic spice, and notes of white pepper. This is impeccably balanced Zinfandel. Its full-bodied style makes it perfect to enjoy all year-round.
